DOTS is a conceptual e-commerce app design project for MOHA (Modern History and Art Museum), which targets young art and culture enthusiasts. It explores how immersive online exhibitions can inspire purchases and how customisable art souvenirs can expand the commercial potential of artworks.

Project Overview
MOHA, a virtual art museum, is planning a long-term exhibition exploring Pointillism and contemporary polka dot art, featuring celebrated works by artists in both fields. The museum will launch a dedicated app for visitors to explore the exhibition online and purchase artworks.
Challenge
The core challenge for DOTS is turning young visitors’ interest in art into a desire to purchase. Conventional museum souvenirs often lack originality, meaningful connections to the art, and opportunities for personalisation. The project must balance a visual identity inspired by polka dot art with immersive exhibition browsing and an intuitive shopping experience, helping visitors connect with the artworks and discover customisable merchandise without disrupting their enjoyment of the exhibition.

Results
The app combines clear guidance and thoughtful visual design with a cohesive polka dot art concept, creating a seamless journey from exploring the exhibition to making a purchase. User testing showed very high task completion rates and satisfaction.
